having a little break in transmission

So, if you think it's been a bit quiet in this part of the world, it's because I've been sitting on my couch watching TV.

No, actually singing and dancing around the room, singing those beautifully arranged, catchy songs from Glee.

Is it just me who has just realised the amazement that is this show?

It's already in its third season, and I've only just become a fan. This might just make me the biggest lagger in history. But thanks to my step-daughter's loyalty to the series (and her collection of all the DVDs to date), I'm catching up.

Four episodes a night catching up. Yes, I'm that addicted dedicated.

And it makes me so happy. Giggling away at the snappy script, and, well, just singing along to those awesome tunes. Makes me wish we had a Glee Club at school...

Have you discovered the wonderfulness that is Glee?

  1. Hehe, our daughter LOVES glee too :)
I have never actually watched it but have been surprised by some of the songs I've heard during the commercials.
I guess we all need to be dedicated to something :p

  2. I was a Glee hater until recently. All of a sudden I am totally into it! My husband started it by developing a crush on Rachael.

  4. Kymmmmmmiiiieeeeeee - i can't believe we didn't establish this key element before we became friends. Being a Gleek is essential. It makes me sing, dance and just feel warm and fuzzy at all the crazy zany story-lines that i know they are just taking the piss out of all the other trashy american high school drama's out there! I love that Glee is putting the love of music back into the younger kids. I dare say it, but i do sport a bit of daggy dancing in my living room! Enjoy your addiction (i mean dedication!)

  5. The benefit of having preteens in the house. We have been big fans since Day one. We even hosted ten girls (in dress up) for the Season Finale last year.
The girls have most songs loaded onto their ipods and master x is addicted to Forget You! He knows all the words and requests it all the time. So funny.
We have a not tv rule from Mon to Thurs nights so we catch up on Friday nights.

    Enjoy!

  6. Glee is great. Sue Sylvester and her political incorrectness is quite amusing. They have the most amazing voices. Apparently the next show to air on tele is a Lady GaGa special. That should be cool.
And don't worry, I've caught up on many a TV series by watching the lot in one weekend ;o)

  10. Just popped over thanks to Seven Cherubs. Gorgeous blog! I am yet to experience Glee, but sooner or later will give in to my daughter's pleads to watch it!

  11. Sapphire loves Glee too, so therefore the rest of us watch it now.

Kurt's song last night about returning to McKinley was unfamiliar to me but was a (reworded) Broadway torch song if ever there was one!

  14. I am obsessed with glee. I came late to it and had the joy of back to back episodes for a while. Now I have to wait week after agonising week for the new ones. It's just so good! Like sugar for the soul.
