....sick twelve year old home today asked for a 'straw' to go with her orange juice. "It's more fun with a straw," she wheezed, with a red nose and sore throat.
I'm only just starting to let go and allow my kids to do stuff like this - no way would the 'old me' have let mess like that occur.
Both my kids have novelty bendy straws for the bath - brilliant for blowing new bubbles and gets them used to exhaling lots of air in preparation for swimming (as well as being huge amounts of fun for them!).
