WHAT HE SAID NEXT...

 "Seeing how you think I'm the best helper,
I thought I'd come in from the garden to help you clean the bathroom."

 "... besides, I was totally parched."

    I can quite understand that you wouldn't have time to sit and stitch with such an amazing little helper in your bathroom!
